Architectural form is the point of contact between mass and space. Shaping it for the given context, is the real task when it comes to form-giving. In the midst of a tendency towards curvaceous design comes sharp, geometric buildings that only know hard lines. As Developers demand simplicity and uniqueness in their projects, architects are bound to focus on minimalism in their designs. One of the ways in which we can trim the fat in design is through the use of sharp, box-inspired shapes and sleek lines. When designing this project, the intent was to create an interface that depicts distinctive bonding of blocks through subtractive geometry from a Unified whole, with adequate natural lighting and ventilation to form sustainable indoor environments. Vertical Louvers have been used on the south facade of the building to control direct sunlight and gain a more consistent looking facade. The addition of masses for the incorporation of planters with natural greens in the facade brings the major component of well being for the occupants. The overall visual impact it sets on the abutting street in terms of its scale and geometry is something that makes it stand sturdy and Timeless.
